About Mia

Creating art, in any form, has always been one of my greatest passions. Art has always been my favorite way to express myself and has never failed to bring me joy. A couple of years ago, while obtaining my BA, I taught myself how to make stained glass through social media. Initially, I learned this art form because I wanted to make Christmas ornaments for my family. However, glass has become so much more than that to me. Stained glass has become a love of mine and is my favorite artistic medium.

Outside of creating art, much of my time is spent outside with nature. The Earth and all of its beauty is just as big of a passion of mine as art. This being so, I reflect my love of nature in most of my glass pieces by nature being my central motif.
